How to connect a wireless DualSense controller to a PS5 system
You must pair a controller with your console before using it for the first time.
- Verify that your PS5 console is turned on.
- Utilizing the supplied USB cable, connect the controller to your gaming system.
- Hit the PS button to turn your controller back on. The player indicator turns on once the light bar has finished blinking.
- You can use your controller wirelessly after its battery has adequate power by unplugging the USB cable.

- To mute and unmute your microphone, use the (mute) button on your controller.
- Your microphone and speakers will be muted if you press and hold the (mute) button on your controller. Your microphone is muted and all speakers’ sound output is turned off when the button blinks.
- To get back to the starting point, press the button once again.

- Select Settings > Accessories from the home screen. Choose Controllers.
- From this menu, you can change your loudness, vibration intensity, trigger effect intensity, and controller indicator brightness.
How to update DualSense wireless controller device software
Your controller’s software may be upgraded if you connect it. Utilizing the supplied USB cord, attach your controller to your PS5 console and follow the on-screen instructions.
